Yeah, I have totaled up all the money I made from working in high school freshmen to senior year and have FINALLY got a car, with $5000 left over for maintenance given by my parents.
I am set on a used Audi s6. It only has 15k miles too and have personally checked out the car, its fine and will draw the attention of everyone in school for senior year hehehehehehe.
The car I was driving before....was a Toyota yaris used, automatic transmission. Piece of SHIT!
So, I want to know how hard it is to use manual shifting gears.
Of course, the Audi has tip tronic so I can choose, but how hard is it?
Specifically, my question is, the highway speed limit is 75, what if you reach that speed at gear 3 lets say? Do you just stick to that gear? Won't it over rev the engine or something?
Sorry if I sound dumb, its just that cars in America these days are all automatic and my dad just sold his manual accord, so i can't practice too much.
Most of this; believe it or not, comes from Gran Turismo information !!

i always get bored playing the games my boyf has...sports games, street fighter..those type of games. But id love to enjoy them. I used to like playing games on the playstation (the first one) when i was younger - i liked games like Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, the sims and some fun car games (but not gran turismo, i found that too hard)
Anyway it was great to spend a rainy day inside playing games and id like to get back into it.

Alright, here in the US we get nothing in colors. For the Wii when it came out first we had white while Europe and Japan had the black. Then we got the black three years later. Same thing for the DS Lite, they had all blue DS Lites, so not the blue and black because we had the blue and black, And we never evenly got it. For the DSi, Europe and Japan have Light Green, Red, Metallic Blue, Light Blue, Pink, White, and Black. We just have Pink, White, Light Blue, and Black. And for the PSP 3000 they only release colors in bundles and no standard colors, but we still did not get Radiant Red and Vibrant Blue. And for the PS3 Fat, they got silver, white, and black. We got Black. For the PS3 Slim, Europe And Japan are getting white. Japan had the Final Fantasy Bundle with white and pink stuff on it. They are also getting a blue gran tursimo PS3 Slim Bundle. And for the Xbox 360. We are good with it because we are getting some Limited Edition Colors. What do you think?

Yesterday, when Sony announced the new Gran Turismo 5 PS3 Slim Bundle coming to Japan, alongside with a white PS3 Slim 160GB. Will the US get any bundles or colors. Because last year Japan got the White and Pink Final Fantasy PS3 Slim Bundle. They get a White PS3 Slim, and a Blue PS3 Slim which comes with Gran Tursimo 5. And then what the US gets, is some expandable memory, but no new colors and that really bothers me because i have been waiting for the PS3 since launch day and waiting if they will launch any new colors, but it seems to me Japan is the only country getting colors.

Ever since childhood, I've been playing NFS and all other racing games. Apparently, GT5 is coming out on Nov. 2nd and NFS on Nov 16th. The 14 day difference doesn't matter to me but I would like to know which one is better.
NFS has variations (Being a Cop and Racer) along with quite a few exotic cars excluding Ferrari Cars.
GT5 has almost ALL the exotic cars and quite unique tracks but I'm afraid it might end too early as it is simply racing.
I require your opinion.

there is Ipod Touch 8gb for £140 downside is I'm not sure I'd be able to fit much of my music if I'm going to have the games on there as well, I have also heard Ipod touch games are awkward to play
or there is the 32gb Ipod touch for £230 I think which is probably a good amount of memory but I will most likely not have enough left over to put any games on it right away

I have just been given a playstation 1 in excellent condition. For some reason I have no in game sound. When it boots up I get the sound with the Sony Playstation load screen and on Gran Turismo I get sound on one of the menu screens, however when playing that game and Theme Park and Theme Hospital, there is no sound whatsoever... I'm really confused. Please advise. Thanks

Ok I have a replacement PVR-802W laser.
Here's the story of what happened. I dicovered that on my ps2 slim, my old laser could not read high definition games like Gran Turismo and Rock Band. By doing a bit of research on the net I found out that my laser was knackered and could not read these HD games. I then purchased the EXACT same model of laser from a computer store and have now installed it. It would not work, the only signs of it working was that it moves around but I dont think the laser lens itself actually turns on if you know what I mean. By the way I have desoldered the anti-static points of the laser and have made sure I have installed it correctly. Do I need to calibrate it somehow?, do I need to adjust the laser in any way?.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I want to buy one of these great consoles, but i just do not know which one. As far as the hard drive i really do not care if the PS3 has less memory while the Xbox 360 S has more at the same price because all i need is really 60GB, but since these are my only two options this is what i have to do. So, as you can see i love so much games on each system. But, if i say that i want the Xbox 360 then i am going to come back to PS3 and say that there is no Little Big Planet on the Xbox 360 or Gran Turismo 5, or Uncharted 2. And if i go with the PS3 i am going to say that there is no Fable on the PS3, or Halo, or Forza. As far as Xbox Live it is an amazing online service, and for the PS3 PlayStation Network is also good, but has less connection. I heard that the Xbox 360 S 250GB got rid of the Red Ring of Death that the old consoles had, and got the Red Dot, which i assume is almost the same thing but a different name. So, if i buy the Xbox 360 and keep it for 1 year and 6 months and then the Red Dot happens and i couldn't fix it, i have to send it to Xbox let them fix it for almost the same price of a new system, when i don't want to pay that much. Also, then what happens to all of my games that i got because i would not want to buy another console for $300.00. Also, the Xbox 360 S 250GB only has a 1 year warranty while the Elite has three years. And for people who are fanboys of Blu-Ray Players i am not and i do not watch movies at all. So, i am looking for a console that has great games, exclusives and etc. I like Kinect more than PlayStation Move because i get to be the controller, but i really want the better console and not the better add-on. So, WHAT TO DO BECAUSE I AM CONFUSED????????????????
P.S: Please explain your answer and do not just type in what you think so do not just say "Xbox 360 or PS3" EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK I SHOULD GET THE CONSOLE!!!

Also, which console is going to last longer in the market. So, if the PlayStation 4 comes out in two years i am not going to get the PlayStation 3 right now, i will get the Xbox 360 instead. And if the "Xbox 720" or Next Xbox is going to come out before the PlayStation 4 then the PlayStation 3 would be a better choice, so i want the console that has a longer life and will stay on store shelves before anything new comes out. I know that Nintendo is already making plans for the Next Nintendo Wii but that is only because they are way behind in almost everything, so i am not sure because Sony and Microsoft will wait 2,3,4,5, or 6 years because they are highly advanced, or if they might want to be even more highly advanced and release another console right now. So, who do you think is going to release a Console first, Sony or Microsoft?

I just purchased a 120Gb PS3 slim 08/10/10. I know that it does have the capability to play certain PS1 games. Are GT1 and GT2 on this list? I have a GT1 disc, but is the original from whenever it came out, and it does not play. Is this because my GT1 disc is ancient, or does the system not read these titles. Thank you.

I really want to play DC Universe Online, but my computer isn't fast enough to play games and buying a PS3 is cheaper than buying a new gaming computer.
The only 360 exclusive I actually played was Saints Row, but they made ports for PS3 now and I don't play Halo, Mass Effect, Gears, Left for Dead, etc. so it wouldn't make me lose sleep if I could not play those games.
I liked God of War on PS2 and have played some games at friends houses like Killzone, Infamous, Gran Turismo, and I miss playing MLB: The Show.
A lot of games I like are multi-platform and I'm not a big online guy so I hate spending money for online and I hardly even play.
